do.repair is a trading name of AMIRENA LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16001043), registered office Arkley Road, Birmingham B28 9PJ (“we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between us and the business that creates a do.repair account (“you”).

do.repair is software for repair businesses. It is for business use only. By creating an account you confirm that you are acting for a business, including as a sole trader, and not as a consumer. Consumer cancellation rights do not apply.

You accept these terms when you create an account or start using do.repair. If you are signing up for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on its behalf.

Our Data Processing Agreement forms part of these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal data of the people who use do.repair.

Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.

Keep passwords and sign-in links private. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to it.

Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone has got into your account.

Each account owner must be at least 18.

Our plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. AMIRENA LTD is not currently registered for VAT, so our prices do not include VAT. If that changes we will tell you in advance and show it on the pricing page.

Free plan: free of charge, with the monthly limits shown on the pricing page. We tell you when you reach a limit and never start charging you without your agreement.

Paid plans: charged monthly in advance. Until card payments are switched on, plan changes are arranged with us directly.

AI credits: paid plans include a monthly AI allowance. Extra credit packs are charged as shown when you buy them, and do not expire.

Customer card payments: if you take payments from your customers through do.repair, they are processed by Stripe and paid out to your own Stripe account. Before a payment reaches you, Stripe’s card processing fee is passed on to you and we keep our own fee, both shown on the pricing page. The amount you receive is the payment less those two fees.

Refunds and chargebacks: you are responsible for refunds, disputes and chargebacks on payments your customers make to you. If a customer is refunded or wins a dispute, the amount is taken back from your Stripe balance, together with any dispute fee Stripe charges. If your balance cannot cover it, you agree to pay us the shortfall. Stripe’s processing fee on the original payment is not returned when a payment is refunded.

We may change our prices by giving you at least 30 days’ notice. The change applies from your next billing month after the notice ends. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

If a payment fails, we will tell you and try again. If it is still unpaid 14 days later, we may move your account to the Free plan or suspend paid features until it is paid.

You must not use do.repair to:

break the law, including data protection and electronic marketing law (UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and PECR);

send marketing messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or send spam by SMS, WhatsApp, email or phone;

upload content you have no right to use, or anything harmful, abusive or misleading;

collect more personal data than you need, such as copies of identity documents, unless the law requires it;

try to access other shops’ data, get round security or usage limits, or overload our systems;

copy, resell or reverse engineer do.repair, except where the law allows it.

Messaging and calls also follow the rules of the networks we use, such as WhatsApp’s Business Policy. We may block a message or a feature if it would break those rules.

do.repair uses artificial intelligence to draft quotes, replies and messages, suggest diagnoses and price ranges, estimate from photos, answer calls you miss and summarise information.

AI output can be wrong. It is a starting point. Check the device and the details before you rely on them.

You stay in charge. Quotes, prices, payments and public replies wait for a person to approve them, unless you switch on auto-approval up to a limit you choose. You are responsible for anything sent from your account, including anything approved automatically under your settings.

Price ranges are estimates. The AI receptionist gives typical ranges from your own price list and never a final price.

Telling your customers. The AI receptionist tells callers they are speaking to an AI and that the call is recorded. You must also explain your use of do.repair in your own privacy notice. We provide a ready-made one you can use (see section 7).

Your data stays yours. You own the information you and your customers put into do.repair. You give us permission to store and use it only to provide do.repair to you, as set out in the Data Processing Agreement.

We may use aggregated statistics that cannot identify you, your customers or anyone else to run and improve do.repair. Local benchmarks only include your shop’s figures if you opt in.

You can export your data at any time from Settings → Privacy & data. If you close your account, we keep it for 30 days in case you change your mind, then delete it. Export anything you need before closing, including records you must keep for tax.

For your customers’ personal data, you are the controller and we are your processor. You decide why and how it is used; we handle it on your instructions under the Data Processing Agreement.

You are responsible for having a lawful reason to use your customers’ data, getting their consent where it is needed (for example for marketing or WhatsApp updates), and giving them a privacy notice. Each shop has a ready-made customer privacy notice, which you can review in Settings → Privacy & data and which is linked from your booking page. You are responsible for checking that it describes how you work.

We work to keep do.repair available and secure, with nightly backups. We do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may need to pause it for maintenance, which we try to do outside busy hours.

We improve do.repair regularly and may change or remove features. If a change would take away something important you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel.

Support is by email. Service levels for Enterprise customers are agreed in writing separately.

Some features rely on other companies, such as Stripe for payments, WhatsApp and Twilio for messages, and Xero or QuickBooks if you connect them. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them.

We own do.repair, including the software, design and content we provide. These terms give you the right to use it for your business while your account is active. If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them without owing you anything.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Otherwise:

we are not responsible for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss;

we are not responsible for loss caused by content or decisions you approve, AI output you rely on without checking, or other companies’ services;

our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if that is more.

You can cancel or change your plan at any time from Settings → Plan & billing, or by contacting us. Upgrades apply straight away. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your billing month. There are no contracts or cancellation fees.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, do not pay, or use do.repair in a way that puts others, our systems or the law at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

We may update these terms. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of important changes, by email or in the app, unless the change is required by law sooner. If you keep using do.repair after the change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.

These terms, the Data Processing Agreement and anything we agree in writing are the whole agreement between us.

Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.

You may not transfer this agreement without our agreement. We may transfer it to a business that takes over do.repair, and we will tell you if we do.

Nobody else has rights under these terms (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999).

If a court decides part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.

We send notices by email to your account’s email address. You can send them to [email protected].

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
